Growing up in a small town in western Illinois, there weren’t many resources for film, aside from a couple of run-down theaters. When I started my undergraduate career, I had my first camera put in my hands, and there’s been one there ever since.
I graduated from Northern Illinois University in the winter of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies. During my time there, I worked in sports broadcasting, always seizing opportunities to get camera time whenever possible.
In the fall of 2023, I began the Master’s program in Cinematography at DePaul University in Chicago. I quickly transitioned from the broadcast world to narrative filmmaking, and now I primarily work as a Director of Photography or 1st Assistant Camera.
Feel free to reach out if you want to know more! I love to meet new people in the industry and learn whenever I can.
